Nic was the ABC's Indochina Correspondent when terrible a car-crash in Bangkok left him severely disabled. Since then he has written three books and become a columnist with the Canberra Times; what he was determined to achieve, however, was the creation of a new and vibrant community for people with disability. And that's how this site got started.
